December 22, 2021

The woman-owned tech company Palmly is one of the 20 ventures taking part in the Techstars Founder Catalyst Program, based in Atlanta, GA. The founders behind the Christian social networking app pitched to investors as the program came to a close.

The Techstars Founder Catalyst Program is run in conjunction with J.P. Morgan, and this year welcomed its first women-focused cohort of 20 companies. The program began in October 2021 and has been providing support, education, and mentorship to participants to help them grow their businesses. The participants, including Palmly, have now pitched to investors on December 13th as part of a virtual pitch day.

Palmly is a Christian social networking app that is marketed as "where people go for faith to grow". The app can be used to make friends, find a church home, and explore faith with like-minded people. It's open to Christians of all denominations and is the fastest-growing Christian community app of its kind. Palmly aims to connect Christian individuals and churches all over the world so that they can build authentic relations, both in-app and in-person, and grow their faith together.

Formerly known as YourTree App, Palmly is growing rapidly. The app helps users to find a church and to connect with others. Through the app, users can get updates from their church and other groups that they connect with, such as bible study groups and more. Palmly is taking a unique approach to providing people with a community where they can explore and grow their faith, whether they currently identify as Christian or if they are agnostic or a non-believer who wants to explore their options.

As a women-led company, Palmly is one of the many up-and-coming ventures spearheaded by women in the tech space. The Techstars Founder Catalyst Program has given the team behind the app valuable support and education to enable them to further their efforts and keep growing the app and its reach. The app currently has a waitlist for users, which can be joined on the website to ensure swift notification of sign-up and download availability.

The Palmly team successfully pitched to investors on December 13th as part of the Techstars virtual pitching event. They prepared for the event using the knowledge and support that they have gained during their time in the program. With access to the network of Techstar entrepreneurs, investors, and corporate partners, the program has given Palmly and its founders a significant boost. They are set to continue their growth in 2022 and beyond.
