NYC ACS Lawyer Announces Client's Case Dismissed by Judge

By: PRLog

The Law Offices of Michael S. Discioarro, LLC Announced Judge Dismisses Client's ACS charges.

BROOKLYN, N.Y. - Aug. 23, 2021 - PRLog -- The case of ACS v. M.H. docket 111586 was a difficult one for the parent. A working single mother was accused of child abuse by ACS for simply trying to discipline her child who was misbehaving and destroying the home. Ultimately, the judge dismissed the charges after ACS realized that they did not have a case.

"We were able to show ACS they were totally wrong," Mr. Discioarro said. ACS routinely accuses New York City parents of abuse and neglect. This is done with very little investigation and with ACS workers not following the applicable law. In many cases, the parents will speak to the ACS worker because they believe ACS is a competent agency.

Based on the parents statements, ACS workers will then manufacture other statements that the parents never made. This is the problem with speaking ACS workers. Parents have the rights to have an attorney at every stage of an ACS case. Even at the beginning. If ACS has targeted your family, contact an attorney as soon as possible. Dealing with ACS can be very difficult for parents. The Law Offices of Michael S. Discioarro, LLC can be reached at 917-519-8417.
