Photography Business Institute’s Members Raise Nearly $70,000 for Charity

The Photography Business Institute’s Peak Performance Coaching members raised thousands for pet charities nationwide in 2024.

(PRUnderground) October 28th, 2024

The Photography Business Institute is proud to announce that its Peak Performance Coaching members have collectively raised $69,370 for pet-related charities across the United States in 2024, thanks to their successful Pooch Playoffs Campaign. This initiative brings together talented photographers with a passion for animals and a commitment to giving back to their communities through impactful charitable efforts.

The Peak Performance Coaching program is for photographers who are committed to building up their portrait photography business without giving up the balance of family life. This program provides comprehensive support, including personalized coaching, business strategy sessions and marketing guidance. Peak Performance members receive hands-on training to refine their selling skills, foster lasting client relationships and build a sustainable boutique photography business. The program also emphasizes community and giving back, with members connecting through workshops, peer-to-peer learning and charity events, all aimed at helping them achieve their business goals while maintaining a balanced, fulfilling life.

Through this “March Madness” style Pooch Playoffs Campaign, Peak Performance Coaching members used their photography expertise to host local campaigns that engaged animal lovers and clients alike and created unique pet portraits. The annual Pooch Playoffs is a fun, bracket-style competition where furry friends compete across the nation for awesome prizes and ultimate “barking” rights. The campaign has been active in cities across the United States, with participants raising significant funds for pet-related charities, including local shelters, rescue groups and animal welfare organizations. It’s the perfect mix of fun, competition, and philanthropy — celebrate beloved dogs and make a difference at the same time.

“Our Peak Performance members have not only elevated their photography businesses but have also made a meaningful difference for animals in need,” said Sarah Petty, Photography Business Institute Founder. “This campaign is a fantastic example of how passion, creativity and giving back can combine to create powerful results. Speaking for all our photography business mentors, we’re incredibly proud of what they’ve achieved so far, and we’re looking forward to seeing their continued impact in 2025.”

In addition to the funds raised, the Pooch Playoffs Campaign has helped local photographers build deeper connections with their communities while showcasing their skills and growing their businesses. By participating in this charity-driven initiative, photographers in the Peak Performance coaching program continue to exemplify the institute’s core values of community involvement, entrepreneurship and dedication to excellence in their craft.
