180 Life Sciences (NASDAQ: ATNF), a clinical-stage biotechnology company, is noting a significant milestone reached in a key clinical trial designed to evaluate anti-tumor necrosis factor (“TNF”) for patients with early-stage, pain predominant frozen shoulder. The company announced that the first patient has been randomized in the trial, which is funded by UK-based National Institute of Health and Care Research (“NIHR”); the trial will investigate whether injections of anti-TNF during the early stages of frozen shoulder can reduce or prevent progression of the disease.
