New York, New York--(Newsfile Corp. - April 19, 2024) - Games, music, and world-building are core to the Wanderers immersive entertainment brand. Their debut game, a rogue-lite x TCG PC title developed in partnership with Animoca Brands Blowfish Studios, will be available on Epic Games later this year, with the highly anticipated closed beta beginning April 27th for digital collectible holders. Throughout the summer, the private beta will open and close with new content and features as the story continues to unfold. For early access throughout closed beta, players can become Wanderers by creating an account and participating in quests on CODEX.

Founded by Nick Greenawalt and Jenna Greenfield, Wanderers is a thriving science fiction universe and platform powered by web3. The founders launched WanderLabs in 2021 after early success from one of the first animated digital collectibles collections with $5m in revenue, $20m spent in the ecosystem, and raised $2m preseed in 2022 to kick off game development.
While digital collectibles continued to be static JPG files, Wanderers began as one of the first generative digital collectibles collections to incorporate music and animation. Today, WanderLabs has evolved their digital collectible collections; Wandernauts, Planets, RAM, and Wanderers, to play a key role in their ecosystem and debut game. Holders are encouraged to create their unique digital identity in the Wanderverse through customized Wandernaut avatars, planets, spaceships, and future utilities. Holders of RAM will get exclusive early access to the closed beta.
On the gaming frontier, Wanderers is a story-driven game with card collecting and strategic deck-building elements. Players are encouraged to "Suit up, strap in, and soar off," as they embark on a galactic odyssey across a sci-fi universe.' The ever-expanding battleground calls for survival, camaraderie, combat, and the pursuit of unraveling ancient secrets. With minigames and meta experiences, Wanderers is adding web3 elements to innovate traditional gaming ecosystems like never before.
Wanderer's Codex, a dynamic platform powered by web3 adds yet another element to the ecosystem, allowing cross-platform experiences, digital identities, and an ever-evolving utility and reward system for the community. This immersive universe acts as a bridge between the game and the web3 ecosystem, with quests, crafting, experiences, and leaderboards to show players progress.
Boasting partnerships with the key players in the web3 space; Animoca Brands, Open Sea, MON and more, along with advisors from some of the most successful video games such as Jamie King, co-founder of Rockstar Games, Wanderers is pioneering the future of entertainment through gaming and world building.

In preparation for the closed beta going live, Wanderers released the Vesna prequel comic; Vesna, a gifted genetic engineer and former Warp Squad hero, is searching for redemption inside a galaxy-destroying anomaly, along with CODEX Season 1 where users participated in quests and earned XP on the Wanderers Codex platform, allowing holders to level up their RAM packs to be used in-game. Users complete quests on the Codex, where they earn Keys and use them to level up their Bundles for more RAM and closed beta codes.
