Polokwane Celebrates 300 Newly Graduated Scientology Volunteer Ministers at Closing Ceremony of Continental Cavalcade

Last week, the Scientology Volunteer Ministers cavalcade concluded its remarkable stay in Polokwane with a powerful graduation and recognition ceremony attended by over 300 people from across Limpopo Province.

Last week, the Scientology Volunteer Ministers cavalcade concluded its remarkable stay in Polokwane with a powerful graduation and recognition ceremony attended by over 300 people from across Limpopo Province. Held at a vibrant local mall, the event brought together community leaders, government officials, religious figures, law enforcement officers, and citizens eager to witness the culmination of weeks of dedicated humanitarian work.

The atmosphere was electric as attendees filled the mall from all corners, some arriving early to reserve their seats to ensure they didn’t miss this momentous occasion. The graduation marked a significant milestone, as the newly trained Volunteer Ministers were officially appointed to continue their mission of delivering practical tools for tackling social ills and uplifting their communities.

The Scientology Volunteer Ministers program has equipped these graduates with tools to address the most pressing social challenges facing their communities, from substance abuse to family discord and economic hardship. They were trained in a range of life-saving techniques, with practical courses that provide real-world solutions to issues like conflict resolution, disaster response, personal improvement, and helping others lead more effective, prosperous lives.

"The training we received is not just theoretical but something that can be applied immediately to improve the lives of others," said one new graduated. "We now have the skills to tackle the pressing issues in our neighborhoods and offer real help."

Several key guests, each distinguished in their respective fields, shared how the Volunteer Ministers program has impacted them personally and the communities they serve. Among the speakers were Reynette Ramodike, a school teacher who witnessed how these tools can empower youth; Phampha William Ramodike, Theology Professor and Deputy Principal, who spoke about the program’s ability to bring hope to both individuals and institutions; Ms. Maureen Delikisa, head of the Department of Social Development for Polokwane, who emphasized the role the VMs have played in supporting vulnerable families; and Brigadier Makhura, Station Commander of Polokwane Police Station, who credited the VM courses for improving both morale and operational efficiency

"The solutions we’ve learned from the Scientology Volunteer Ministers are practical and effective," said Brigadier Makhura.

Each speaker underscored the positive impact of the program and expressed their gratitude to L. Ron Hubbard for developing these tools, which have been a force for change. Framed letters of recognition were presented as a sign of appreciation for their commitment to uplifting the community.

The newly graduated community members left the ceremony not just with certificates but with a clear mission: to spread these vital tools within their communities and improve conditions. Whether it’s reducing crime, helping individuals struggling with addiction, or providing critical support in times of crisis, they are now armed with practical methods to address and solve pressing social issues.

Looking ahead, the Volunteer Ministers plan to expand their reach, not just within Limpopo but across South Africa. With roots in the community stretching back to 2019, the program has already made a significant impact, touching the lives of thousands. The new graduates are now set to carry forward this legacy, offering their skills and knowledge to help others thrive.

"As we go back to our communities, we’re not just bringing help—we’re bringing hope," said one graduate. "We now have the power to make real change, and we’re ready to do that."

The ceremony concluded with special commendations for all those who participated throughout the Cavalcade, recognizing their dedication to empowering their communities and bringing about lasting change. Attendees were encouraged to continue their work and expand their efforts in reaching more people in need.
