Pilloo’s updated customization service allows customers to design one-of-a-kind throw pillows featuring sublimation prints of cherished family photos. The pillows are all handcrafted at Pilloo’s Montreal warehouse using eco-friendly materials and techniques.

As part of the update, customers can now create family photo pillows in custom shapes or traditional shapes. The custom-shaped pillows are cut and sewn in the unique outline of whatever photo is provided whereas the traditional-shaped pillows only come in square, rectangle, and circular options. Both the custom and traditional-shaped pillows are available in four sizes, ranging from small (16”) to life-size (60”).
To create a family photo pillow, customers start by choosing the type of pillow they want to customize on Pilloo’s online design platform. They then upload the family photo they want printed onto the pillow to the platform and adjust it until they are satisfied. Typically, custom orders take anywhere from 7 to 15 days to fulfill.
The shells of Pilloo’s pillows are made using a combination of polyester and soft velvet, while the filling is high-quality stuffing material. The pillows are also hypoallergenic, anti-microbial, and eco-friendly, and they can be machine-washed numerous times without losing their shape or colour.
Though the pillows are ideal for showcasing special family photos, customers can use them to display several other family-related things, including crests, coats of arms, and mottos. The pillows make memorable gifts for birthdays, weddings, anniversaries, retirements, and reunions. Many customers also get them to honour loved ones who have recently passed.
