Africa In America, a global brand dedicated to celebrating and preserving the richness of African Diasporic traditions in the United States, is set to host an enriching event titled, "THE YARD SHOW: A Celebration of African American Traditions," on September 28th and 29th, 2024. This event will take place at The Miracle Theater in Inglewood and Crenshaw Yoga & Dance Studios, providing participants with an opportunity to explore African American traditions that emphasize wellness and cultural heritage.

The Yard Show will offer interactive sessions designed to connect attendees with mindfulness practices and wellness resources passed down through generations. Master workshops featuring top dancers from the TV and film industry will be a highlight, providing unique learning opportunities in dance and movement. The event will also honor Congolese Master Dancer and Drummer Mabiba Baegne, recognizing her significant contributions to the community.

On September 29th, a free public space activation will take place on Crenshaw Boulevard between 54th and 57th Avenue. This public event is designed to bring the community together in a celebration of African American culture, with live performances, contests, and the chance to connect with like-minded individuals in a supportive environment.
