To celebrate the flagship store's opening, Miniso announced its collaboration with the globally popular BT21, becoming the first retailer in Malaysia to introduce BT21 products and exclusive items available only at the 1 Utama flagship store. The store's design centers around a romantic pink theme, providing immersive shopping experiences aligned with Miniso's mission to inspire happiness.
At the grand opening, Amber Chia and Jie Ying Tha interacted with fans, sharing how Miniso brings convenience and joy to their lives. Additionally, Miniso's mascot, PENPEN the Miniso I.P., distributed pink balloons to children. Activities like popcorn and cotton candy carts, gashapon machines, game boards, Barbie photo zones, and 360-degree photo booths offered fun for all.
