Rainmaker Securities, a leader in the secondary market for shares of late-stage private equity issuers, today announced it has expanded RainmakerX, the company’s self-service research and trading portal, to better service its global footprint of independent brokers and to serve as a centralized information center for both its clients and broker team.

RainmakerX’s new capabilities allow Rainmaker’s brokers to view its global order book and directly place orders on behalf of the company’s global client base which includes institutions, private equity, high-net-worth investors, and special purpose vehicles. RainmakerX will also serve as a centralized management system for brokers’ client and partner lists, enhance cross-team collaboration, and provide advanced research capabilities via Rainmaker’s equity research product.

Designed to combine many features of an exchange with the adaptability required for different trading conditions across private securities, RainmakerX enables representatives to match orders directly with other representatives, streamlining the private securities trading process. Furthermore, the platform enables Rainmaker’s team of dealmakers to more efficiently manage business and compliance relationships with their buy- and sell-side clients and additional stakeholders, providing critical support throughout the trading process.

The platform additionally provides deeper access to market research, including Rainmaker’s proprietary research and trading price history, and data from Rainmaker’s third-party providers.
