The Boston Globe Names CCC a Top Place to Work in Massachusetts for the Fourth Year in a Row

CCC, a leader in advancing copyright, accelerating knowledge, and powering innovation, has been named one of the Top Places to Work in Massachusetts for the fourth year in a row in the 16th annual employee-based survey project from The Boston Globe. CCC was ranked #17 in the Top Large Employers category.

175 companies made the Globe’s annual Top Places to Work list this year. In all, the employee engagement company Energage invited more than 8,000 organizations with employees in Massachusetts to participate. Nearly 68,000 workers at 323 companies rated their employers on leadership, values, training, benefits, and other metrics. The rankings are broken down into four size categories: small (50-99 employees), medium (100-249), large (250-999), and largest (1,000 or more). The data for these rankings are based on company profiles when the surveys were conducted earlier this year.

“CCC is pleased to have been named a Top Place to Work in Massachusetts and we’re equally honored to have earned such high accolades from our employees who are committed to the mission of making copyright work,” said Tracey Armstrong, President and CEO, CCC. “As we grow as an organization, we continue to learn and innovate together, striving to maintain an inclusive environment where we emphasize the importance of community and the difference that we can make in the world together.”

Founded in 1978, CCC provides copyright licensing solutions, information services, and software solutions. CCC is committed to creating a diverse, equitable, and inclusive (DEI) workplace. CCC’s DEI Employee Resource Group launched a pilot Girls Who Code team at the elementary school level in 2023 and piloted the first chapter north of Boston last year. CCC is a member of the Mass Technology Leadership Council (MassTLC), whose mission is to accelerate innovation, growth, and development of an inclusive tech ecosystem in Massachusetts, and is also a member of the North Shore Juneteenth Association, an emerging 501 (c)(3) organization of community leaders creating awareness about Juneteenth, educating the community about positive aspects of Black American culture, and dismantling racism by using events and programming as tools of change.

CCC has consistently earned accolades as an organization. The Women’s Edge and The Boston Globe recently named it a Top Women-led Business in Massachusetts, and CCC earned a spot on USA Today's Top Workplaces USA 2024 list for the third consecutive year. CCC also won three Top Workplaces Culture Excellence Awards in 2024 for prioritizing employee well-being, professional development, and appreciation.
