Texas Wizards Tournament Kicks off March 24, 2023

Stern Pinball, Inc. is proud to announce the fourth Stern Pro Circuit tournament of the 2023 competitive season. The Texas Wizards Tournament (part of the larger Texas Pinball Festival) is taking place in Frisco, TX on March 24-25, 2023. This two-day event is the largest competitive tournament in all of Texas, with players all hoping to improve their rankings to qualify for the Stern Pro Circuit Championship.

In its third season, Stern Pinball continues its partnership with the International Flipper Pinball Association (IFPA) in producing the premier competitive pinball circuit in the world. The Stern Pro Circuit is a series of 20 high-level pinball tournaments held throughout the season culminating in the pinnacle event, the Stern Pro Circuit Championship featuring the top 32 ranked players.

The Texas Wizards Tournament is capped at 160 players and includes Stern Pinball machines from every era, including the very first tournament, to showcasing the newest smash hit release, Foo Fighters! Qualifying begins on the morning of Friday, March 24, and runs until the afternoon of Saturday, March 25. Finals for all divisions will be held on Saturday evening, with 24 players qualifying for A Division Finals, and 8 players qualifying for B and Novice Finals. The tournament will follow a limited entry, best-game format with each player having over 20 hours to play 25 entries, to put up their best score on 12 pins, with at least 3 pins coming from each era to qualify. Winners will receive cash prizes, trophies, and of course bragging rights.
