Mobile Heartbeat and HCA Healthcare to Present at HIMSS22 Lunch & Learn

Executives to speak about combating clinical burnout, nursing shortage, and kick off the Nursing Informatics Symposium

Leading clinical communication and collaboration (CC&C) software provider Mobile Heartbeat will be presenting at HIMSS22 Global Health Conference & Exhibition in Orlando, Florida on March 14-17.

Mobile Heartbeat announced their presentation today featuring Lunch & Learn speakers Mike Detjen, COO of Mobile Heartbeat, and Annabaker Garber, RN, PhD, CNIO of HCA Healthcare. Mobile Heartbeat supports more than 185,000 HCA Healthcare users each month to provide seamless, end-to-end collaboration capabilities. Since implementing MH-CURE in 2014, HCA Healthcare has seen benefits such as boosted staff satisfaction, enhanced patient care and improved operations.

Healthcare organizations leverage Mobile Heartbeat software, including the original on-premises platform, MH-CURE, and the cloud-native platform, Banyan™, to streamline clinical workflows and enable quicker care coordination. Mobile Heartbeat’s solutions enable clinicians to rapidly find colleagues, respond to patient alerts and alarms, and disseminate critical information, all from a single application on a single device. As a result, Mobile Heartbeat customers have seen significant improvements in patient throughput, clinician satisfaction and patient experience.

“The healthcare industry has one of the most mobile workforces in the world, and we are pleased to partner with Mobile Heartbeat to improve our care coordination,” Garber said. “Additionally, effective communication is key to improving clinical and nursing workflows and fostering better patient care.”

Attendees of the lunch and learn on Wednesday, March 16, can expect to learn actionable ways to maximize time nurses spend with patients while improving the technological experience.

“In normal times, nurses and clinicians are challenged with the demands placed on them. This pandemic has only increased the stress and demands,” Detjen said. “Partnering with HCA Healthcare we’ve proven there are quite a few ways that improved communication and collaboration can support nurses and clinicians, and we look forward to sharing these insights with the HIMSS audience.”

Mobile Heartbeat will also be sponsoring the Nursing Informatics Symposium on Monday, March 14, discussing issues such as documentation burden, health equity and digital transformation.

Mobile Heartbeat executives will also be available to meet at conference room MP9002 Monday, March 14 – Thursday, March 17 upon request. To request a consultation, fill out this form.
