Financial Services Company Taps Former Microsoft and Groupon Executive to Lead Product Development and Growth Efforts Across the U.S. and Canada
Remitly, the mobile-first provider of remittances and financial services for immigrants, today announced that Vishal Ghotge has joined the company as its Executive Vice President, North America. Ghotge brings to Remitly nearly two decades of experience working in the technology industry, including more than 15 years leading product growth initiatives at tech giants Microsoft and Groupon. In his new role with Remitly, Ghotge will drive the company’s customer-focused product vision and roadmap for North America, reporting directly to Co-Founder and CEO Matt Oppenheimer.
Immediately prior to joining Remitly, Ghotge served as Chief Product Officer at compensation software company PayScale, where he was responsible for overseeing the product strategy, user experience and technology for the entirety of the company's product portfolio.

Ghotge holds a Master’s in Computer Science from the University of Illinois, and a bachelor’s in Computer Engineering from the University of Mumbai, India.
