HOBOKEN, NJ: The Sims Pump Valve Company, Inc. is proud to announce a recent project where they engineered and manufactured SIMSITEâ Structural Composite Chemical Pumps for Halliburton that will withstand the most challenging chemical conditions. In a recent video, shown below, Sims Pump Company President, John A. Kozel, showcased this custom “SIMSITEâ Chemical Pump for Halliburton” and explained the pump’s unique features.
Mr. Kozel explains how this specially engineered structural composite carbon fiber chemical pump was manufactured by SIMS PUMP and designed to handle 2,000 gallons per minute at a head of 150 feet, at 1750 RPM with a 100 HP Motor. What makes these pumps unique is that they are machined from solid blocks of the patented SIMSITE® Structural Graphite Composite on 5 to 8 axis machining centers. These SIMSITEâ Structural Composite long-lasting pumps are far superior to metallic pumps because of their corrosion, erosion, and cavitation resistance and reduced energy and operational expenses.
When asked about the project off camera, Mr. Kozel remarked that one of the hallmarks of their World-renowned pump technology is the “progressive thinking that goes into everything we do… the way SIMS PUMP listens to the needs of their Customers and how they respond with cutting-edge pump technology for every Industry.”
“As a business that has been around for more than a 101 years, SIMS PUMP offers a wide range of engineered centrifugal pumps that can be used in Marine, Navy and Industrial applications.” “It was the unparalleled structural composite technology that got the attention of the folks at Halliburton, and they are familiar with us because of the pumps that we manufacture for many international oil and gas clients.”
Centrifugal pumps are at the heart of many commercial, marine, industrial, and public works processes and many of these pumps are designed and built by the Sims Pump Valve Company in Hoboken, New Jersey. By manufacturing pumps, impellers & casing rings and other pump upgrades for industrial giants like Halliburton, Sims Pump has been able to promote their new patented technology around the World because their pumps have been used successfully in the most challenging of industrial environments. By selecting a SIMSITE® pump, this global leader in technology has further highlighted the superiority of SIMSITEâ Structural Composite Pumps, Impellers, and Pump Upgrades!.
“It was a great honor to have the opportunity to design these chemical pumps that have been used by Halliburton,” says Mr. Kozel,” and we are grateful for this opportunity to promote our signature SIMSITE® structural composite engineered pump line.
