As part of evaluating investment opportunities in the region, Turkcell took following decisions:

Concerning the Public Auction for the sale of a 26% ownership stake in the company that will be incorporated as the third Mobile Operator in Kuwait, to apply for the pre-qualification stage and conduct necessary studies to bid for the Public Auction,

Concerning the tender regarding the issuance of a total of three National Mobile Telecommunication Licenses in Iraq of up to 15 years’ duration, to conduct the necessary studies to participate in the tender.

We hereby confirm that the above-mentioned explanations are furnished as per the provisions of the Communiqué Serial no VIII/39, that they reflect all information we have gathered so far, that they are in accordance with our corporate documents, that we have used all endeavors to collect the complete and true related information and that we assume the responsibility for this disclosure.
