Item 5.07. | Submission of Matters to a Vote of Security Holders. |
(a) The 2018 annual meeting of shareholders of Tenet Healthcare Corporation (the Company) was held on May 3, 2018.
(b) The Companys shareholders (1) elected all eight of the nominees for director, (2) approved, on an advisory basis, the Companys executive compensation, (3) ratified the selection of Deloitte & Touche LLP as the Companys independent registered public accountants for the year ending December 31, 2018, and (4) did not approve a shareholder proposal regarding an independent board chairman.
The final results of voting on each of the matters submitted to a vote are set forth below. Abstentions and broker non-votes were counted for purposes of determining whether a quorum was present but were not counted as votes cast on any matter.
