Item 2.02. Results of Operations and Financial Condition
On January 4, 2007, Mothers Work, Inc. (“Mothers Work”) issued a press release announcing its preliminary sales results for the month of December 2006 and for the first quarter ended December 31, 2006. In the release, Mothers Work also provided guidance information related to earnings for its quarter ended December 31, 2006. A copy of the press release is attached hereto as Exhibit 99.1 and is incorporated herein by reference.
