VA puts $16B contract for Oracle Cerner electronic health records system under review

The Department of Veterans Affairs will put under review its contract with Oracle Cerner to launch a new electronic health records system. The deployment, beset by challenges in its early stages, would make the VA's EHR compatible with a system the company created for the Department of Defense.
