Early Bird FilmFreeway Submission Deadline for Short and Feature Length Paranormal Documentary Films Approaches; Use Promo Code PARAHOLIDAY25 to Save 25%

LOS ANGELES - Dec. 14, 2022 - PRLog -- Parapod Film Festival is seeking short and feature-length documentaries with paranormal subject matter for their March 31-April 1, 2023 event. Submissions are being processed exclusively via FilmFreeway.com through February 24, 2023. The screening will be held at the Regal Edwards Cinema in Valencia, CA on March 31, 2023. The festival's Early Bird Deadline is December 19, and from now through the end of December, filmmakers using the holiday promo code (PARAHOLIDAY25) will save 25% on submissions fees.

"We are excited to celebrate the work of filmmakers who are exploring the paranormal," said festival director Tony Sweet, whose ParaPod Festival includes not only the ParaPod Film Festival, but also the ParaPod Podcast Awards and a day-long conference with some of the biggest names in the paranormal community. "The paranormal community covers a broad spectrum of topics, ranging from UFOs and extraterrestrial experiences to Bigfoot and other cryptids, from ghosts and hauntings to spirituality and metaphysics, and so much more. Our goal is to celebrate all of it!"

ParaPod Film Festival is a FilmFreeway Gold festival. Submissions can be made via their site in two categories: short and feature-length.  Short documentaries are defined as projects from 10-39 minutes in length, while feature-length documentaries (as defined by the AFI and BFI) are 40-180 minutes in length. The subject matter must pertain to the paranormal; the scope of the genre is broad and includes any number of topics that fall outside of mainstream content. The themes of the films should cover topics ranging from UFOs, extraterrestrial visitations, and alien abductions; the search for various cryptids, including Bigfoot; investigations into hauntings, finding proof of ghosts, or even uncovering the truth behind unsolved crimes and mysteries; and exploring the world of spirituality, spiritual health, magic, and metaphysical concepts.

ParaPod Festival will take place March 31-April 1, 2023 between the Regal Edwards Cinema and the Hyatt Regency in Valencia, CA. Confirmed speakers and panelists include Linda Moulton Howe (Ancient Aliens), Ben Hansen (Fact or Faked), Patti Negri (Ghost Adventures), JImmy Church (podcast host and presenter), Char Margolis (renowned psychic), Craig Campobasso (author), and Glynis McCants (renowned numerologist).
