Morgan State University president to speak during inaugural BEYA Leading Voices Summit on the STEM City USA metaverse

BALTIMORE - June 15, 2022 - PRLog -- CCG is proud to announce the first BEYA Leading Voices summit on the STEM City USA platform on Friday, June 24, 2022, from 9:30 a.m. to 5 p.m.

The summit will highlight transformational innovators who are creating a successful environment between HBCUs (Historically Black Colleges and Universities) and partnering with tech companies on the latest technological innovations. There will be sessions on technology commercialization & economic development, Artificial Intelligence & HBCUs, the transformative power of 5G, and a special presentation by Morgan State University President, Dr. David Wilson.

Dr. Wilson holds a B.S. in political science and an M.S. in education from Tuskegee University, an Ed.M. in educational planning and administration from Harvard University, and an Ed.D. in administration, planning and social policy, also from Harvard. He has held his presidency at Morgan State since 2010.

Career Communications Group (CCG) launched Stem City USA in 2021. This platform is designed to bring the resources needed for career success to young people as well as connect professionals in STEM careers. The virtual community environment aims to close the digital divide and provide K-12 students with access to benefit from online learning opportunities.
