By: PRLog

The On It Foundation, a National 501(c)(3) public non-profit has pivoted during the pandemic to address the organizations tremendous increase of families requesting laptops for online learning and remote work during these unprecedented times. The On It Foundation has also increased its offering of Virtual STEM / STEAM Events for Youth and their families with online curriculum focusing on innovative technologies.

MIAMI - March 29, 2022 - PRLog -- Founded in 1999 by Ms. Phair, The On It Foundation's mission is dedicated to providing free computers and 21st Century Skill Sets to include STEM / STEAM Education to low-income families with students in grades K-12 that receive a free/reduced school lunch, attend a public/home school and reside within the United States.

"With many students remote learning during the pandemic, our organization has received an increase in the request for laptops - not only from families, but also from schools and community centers. At the same time, our students and families are reaching out to us for services pertaining to remote Internship opportunities, jobs and human service resources. In addition, our corporate and federal surplus computer donations have decreased; understandably due to companies offering employee telecommuting," states Ms. Phair.

"The On It Foundation pivoted to sustain our recipient growth, by increasing our free online STEM / STEAM events to provide Next Generation Technology curriculum's on Artificial Intelligence (AI) and Machine Learning, Robotic Process Automation (RPA), NFT (Non-Fungible Tokens), Bitcoin, Quantum Computing, Internet of Things (IoT), 5G, Data Science, Cyber Security and more. For me, challenges provide an opportunity to create, develop and implement new innovation and spark creativity – even during and post pandemic," coined Ms. Phair.
