Item 2.02 Results of Operations and Financial Condition.
On August 7, 2012, Gastar Exploration Ltd. (NYSE MKT: GST) (the “Company”) issued a press release announcing the Company’s financial results for the three and six months ended June 30, 2012. A copy of the Company’s press release, dated August 7, 2012, is furnished herewith as Exhibit 99.1 and is incorporated herein by reference.
