On December 24, 2010, in accordance with the government policy to gradually reduce its holdings in government-controlled enterprises, Korea Electric Power Corporation (“KEPCO”) sold 2,248,000 common shares of its subsidiary Korea Plant Service & Engineering Co., Ltd. (“KPS”) in the over-the-counter market, which resulted in a reduction of KEPCO’s equity interest in KPS from 80.000% to 75.004%. The proceeds to KEPCO from the sale of the KPS shares was approximately Won 150 billion, at Won 66,940 per share.
