On January 4, 2010, Inergy, L.P. (“the Partnership”) issued a press release announcing that its wholly owned subsidiary, Inergy Propane, LLC, has purchased all of the partnership interests in Liberty Propane, L.P., and in a separate transaction signed a definitive agreement to acquire the propane assets of MGS Corporation. The press release is attached hereto as Exhibit 99.1.
