Prudential plc

Application has been made to the Financial Services Authority and the London Stock Exchange Plc for a total of 250,000 Ordinary shares of 5p each (“shares”) to be admitted to the Official List.

It is expected that the application will be granted on 6 November 2007 and that admission will take place on 7 November 2007.

These shares are being reserved under block listings and will be issued as a result of the exercise of share awards pursuant to the following schemes:

When issued, these shares will rank pari passu with the existing Ordinary shares.
