On August 19, 2004, Kulicke and Soffa Industries, Inc. (the “Company”) announced that it has completed the redemption of all of its outstanding 5.25% Convertible Subordinated Notes due 2006 (the “Notes”) at a redemption price equal to 102.100% of the principal amount of the Notes outstanding, plus interest accrued to, but excluding, the date of redemption. A copy of the press release is filed as Exhibit 99.1 and incorporated in this report by reference.
