Item 5.02.                      Departure of Directors or Certain Officers; Election of Directors; Appointment of Certain Officers; Compensatory Arrangements of Certain Officers.

 

Effective September 12, 2018, Leonard R. Stein assumed a new position as Senior Vice President, Global Affairs of Splunk Inc. (the “Company”).  Scott Morgan, the Company’s General Counsel, is now responsible for the Company’s legal affairs function.  Effective September 13, 2018, the Board of Directors of the Company appointed Mr. Morgan as Secretary and as an executive officer of the Company.
